About the TV Bingo

The Kiwanis Club of Ottawa launched TV Bingo on Rogers Cable – channel 22 on Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.  Occasionally, the game is moved to a Tuesday to accommodate vacation Mondays. 

Cost: $4.00 includes 1 card with 3 tickets to play 4 games throughout the hour, the games are:

  • Crazy “T” - $600.00 (no dabbers)

  • 2 Corner Stamps (8 numbers each) - $600.00 (no dabbers)

  • 2 Lines of the B-N-O - $600.00 (use dabbers) continues onto the Full Card

  • Full Card - $1000.00 (use dabbers)

Traditionally on the last Monday of the month and other specially announced dates, it is a SuperBingo. The cost stays the same, and the prizes are increased:

  • Crazy "T" - $1,000 (no dabbers)

  • Any 2 Corner Stamps (8 numbers) - $1,000 (no dabbers)

  • Two B-N-O Lines - $1,000 (use dabbers) continues onto the Full Card

  • Full Card - $2,000 (use dabbers)

Proceeds from the Ottawa Kiwanis TV Bingo will be used to help fund the programs of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa which includes programs for seniors and youth.

About the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa

The Kiwanis Club of Ottawa is one of the most active and dynamic service clubs in the world.

With 150 members from the private, public and voluntary sectors, the Club has a focus on community service projects for children and youth including the Kiwanis Read-a-thon, the Kiwanis Music Festival and mentoring with Cadets, Circle K and Key Clubs.

TV Bingo and Rogers for the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club

The TV Bingo Committee in conjunction with Rogers TV presented a cheque to the Boys and Girls Club (BGC) of Ottawa for their Walk this Way initiative. The $15,000 from the proceeds of TV Bingo will help the support this great wellness program.

The cheque was presented by Gavin Lumsden of Rogers TV and Bill Gosewitz of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa to Medin Admasu of the BGC.

TV Bingo On April 5th, then Cancelled for Three Weeks

Kiwanis TV Bingo will be aired on Monday, April 5th.  

However, due to the new lockdown re COVID, production at Rogers TV will discontinue for a few weeks and there is NO Kiwanis TV Bingo on April 12, 19, 26.    

We are targeting May 3rd as our return date.  Watch for future postings.

Kiwanis TV Bingo is back on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd, at 7:00 p.m. on Rogers TV.

Tickets for February 22nd will be in the Circle K stores by this Wednesday February 17th.

Tickets for any date before February 22nd can be discarded in your recycling as they are no good for February 22nd.

Please pass along the good news to your family and friends who play.

If anyone needs to be reimbursed for tickets they had for January or February, please send an email to office@ottawakiwanis.org with your name, address, phone number, and the number of tickets you purchased, as we will be providing free tickets for a game in March.

If we had previously sent you tickets, we already have your name in our database and will send you free tickets again.
